Summary

This is a case for the DFRobot DFR0580 Solar Power Manager for 12V Lead-Acid Batteries. It incorporates a standard 70mm box fan, but you can omit this for lower power projects. For my project, I am controlling the 12V fan with an XY-T01 thermostat controller with the thermal probe mounted directly to the large heatsink on the bottom of the DFR0580. The fan is a very old one I had sitting around and it has a non-standard thickness of 13.5mm, but this design will work with any fan thickness, just change the lengths of the screws. I'm using M3 x 80mm screws, and they protrude from the bottom of the case by a centimeter or so, acting as feet to keep the bottom grill from being blocked.
