The file 'Carbon Cub Battery Holder 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 368.5KB.
This is a battery tray for the Horizon Hobby Carbon Cub. When this plane first came out many of us bought the laser cut plywood battery tray system from CZC. The base plate was plenty strong enough but the battery tray was somewhat weak. This tray replaces the plywood version. This tray was made to hold a Graphene 65C 4000 mah battery.
Update: I print the battery holder with the leg hooks up.
Update: After about 3 years my battery tray legs broke. I've added a file that lengthens the tray to hold a 5000 mah battery. This one I printed out of TPU. I think the leg problem will be gone. I used the Priline TPU from Amazon https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B074DV9JMX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 it prints easily and is very tough. Version 7 is the new long one.
