The Honda Jazz / Fit 2007 - 2015 comes with a cup ash-tray that you can use to store car park change. Unfortunately, there is a metal grill in the top that prevents you from getting your hand inside the cup. This means it's a bit awkward to get your money back out. To solve this, I've designed this cup which is entirely print in-place. The cup should fit snugly in the standard cup holder.
This is my first in-place design, so it might be a little crude compared to the best designs. It's very important that you print at a 0.2mm layer height, with 0.1mm possibly working too. When you first open the lid, be very gentle. There is a single-layer bridge underneath the hinge to support it during printing. When you first open the lid you will be breaking this bridge. Try and support the lid with your hand as much as you can.
If using in a car, I strongly recommend printing in PETG. It gets very hot inside a car in summer and PLA will probably soften / warp.
I've only tested with Slic3r Prusa Edition, but other slicers should work well. Just make sure that there's a gap between the lid and body, as well as a single-layer bridge underneath the hinge.
