The file 'Caquot Observation Balloon – 1/144 Scale 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 2.8MB.
I have redesigned this from the ground up, reducing the main balloon print time from about 15 hours to around 11 hours.
This is meant for the Wings of Glory line. I have designed it to use the existing WoG bomber pegs so you don't have to print anything extra on that.
The balloon itself has two versions, both split in half for easier printing - Manned and Unmanned so you can choose which angle you want to use. See supports notes below.
I updated the basket wires with a solid line for easier attachment to the balloon. The basket itself is updated with sand bags.
I have included 3 bases - neutral, entente, and central powers. If you are flying multiple balloons, I have added a numbering system so that you can add pegs to identify each individual balloon.
