I bought a Canyon Spectral:ON and for some reason they decided to make a proprietary bottle cage mount.
No big deal, just forget all the cages you already have and buy theirs right.....WRONG they are no longer listed on the US website so who knows when they will be back in stock and I get cranky when I am thirsty......but I digress.....
To install this you will need:
(2) M5x18 bolts for the seat tube mounting holes
(1) M5x12 bolt and (1) M5 nut for the lower hole in the cage
(1) M4x18 bolt for the down tube mounting hole
The bottom of the lower cage hole should be big enough to "press" the M5 nut into, I used one of the longer M5 bolts to pull it into place before mounting on the frame. You may need to use a drill bit to open up the holes so the bolts have clearance.
Everything else should be pretty self explanatory. Depending on your cage you may need a small spot of frame protection tape so you don't get a rub spot from your bottle when you are blasting through rock gardens.
