Stops the main stem of the plant from bending at a sharp angle during the first training attempt. Place support on soil adjacent to main stem. Allow stem to follow the curve of the support while bending the stem during its first training.
NOTE: Do not bend the stem over the entire length of the support all at once. Bend the stem over the length of the support over a few days.
