Summary

This is a Mars base building and survival game.
The modules of this base are sent on unmanned rockets and assembled on Mars with no human labor. The modules start as "printer capsules" sent from earth, and they land in a pack before constructing/printing themselves from a cache of on-board materials. The "Printer Capsule" files show the concept.

Each of the modules has 6 sides, with a doorway and emergency seal on each wall. The smaller units have attachments that connect to provide extra scientific and survival functions for your base!

The buggy is for inhabitants to leave the base and scout the local area. The occupants are exposed during the ride, so they need to make sure they are ready to get back to base in case of a dust storm! The large transport vehicle is for using and moving the base's attachable systems; it also offers a lot more protection from the harsh martian environment than the buggy.
Individual Pieces:
-Large Modules-
Greenhouse Dome - For food and oxygen production.
Vehicle/drone bay - For preparation and storage of manned and unmanned vehicles.
Large Module - A large, general purpose unit capable of housing a work area, common area, living quarters, etc...
-Small Modules-
Small Module - General purpose unit capable of housing many of the systems needed to keep your base going.
-Small Module attachments-
Wind power generator - Collects power from the wind and generates electricity.
Solar panel array - Collects solar energy and generates electricity.
Communications array - Communications devices to keep your base communicating with the outside.
Observation dome - A dome on top of the unit that allows inhabitants to observe the martian landscape and sky.
Observatory - A large telescope for astronomy studies.
C02 harvester/processor - Collects C02 from the atmosphere and mixes it with Hydrogen and a Nickel catalyst to produce methane fuel and water.
Active radiation shield - Generates an electromagnetic field to keep your base and inhabitants safe from harmful radiation.
Drilling Unit - A drilling unit to drill into Mars. This may enhance planet research and will allow for geothermal heating of your base.
Water treatment - (not in picture) Stores, recycles, and filters water for use by the inhabitants and greenhouse(s).
-Doorway Units-
Long connector - Tunnel to connect long distances between units.
Short Connector - Tunnel to connect short distances between units.
Connector - Connector to connect units that are directly adjacent to one another.
Air lock - Air lock unit with a door on each side, which will allow inhabitants in and out of your base without compromising the artificial atmosphere.
Door Seal - Seals off open doorways in your base to keep out the cold and dust.
-Extras-
Construction bot - A multi-purpose robot mainly used for scientific and construction purposes.
Mars rover - A four passenger buggy for expeditions away from the base, or for joyrides.
Mars large transport - A large transport that can move the base's systems and make use of them at other locations. For example, it could take the drill to a rich mineral deposit for drilling/mining.
Mars human - A human inhabitant for your base, the human has a suit on that protects him/her from the elements and hides his/her hands.
Printer Capsules - (pre and post deployment)The capsules that earth would send to print new buildings and units.
More units and attachments are planned, and the game rules are being sorted out now! The speed of the updates depends mainly on community response.
Thanks for looking, hope you like it!
6-20: Updated Mars Buggy and Mars Astronaut to be more to scale.
8-1: Sorry for the delay in updates! Turns out there are a lot of things that need polishing for the game to work. I have decided that a website will replace the cards, but the artwork for different events is taking longer than expected. I will get it finished as fast as I can and keep updating you all along the way!
