Das manuelle Zurückstellen des Blinkers ist bei den aktuellen Spyder-Modellen ab etwa Modelljahr 2013 etwas schwierig, vor allem mit dicken Handschuhen. Durch den sehr schmalen Rücken des Druckknopfs trifft man häufig nicht exakt die Mitte und schaltet dadurch den Blinker nicht aus, sondern in die gleiche oder die andere Richtung.
Die Kappe verbessert das manuelle Zurückstellen. Sie lässt sich ohne Werkzeug einfach auf den Knopf am Blinkerschalter aufsetzen und auch rückstandslos wieder entfernen:

• Die Kappe so halten, dass die Fäche mit dem innen liegenden Zapfen oben ist.
• Die Kappe um ca. 45° nach vorn neigen und den Zapfen in die Ausnehmung im Knopf positionieren.
• Mit einem Finger auf der oberen Kante die Kappe fixieren.
• Mit wenig Druck auf die untere Kante die Kappe auf dem Knopf einrasten.

• Hold the cap in place with a finger on the upper edge.
• Apply a little pressure to the bottom edge to snap the cap onto the knob.
