Summary

I loved the strong 'Ultimate Sturdy Octoprint / Pi Camera Mount' arm from Stewpercharged (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3374914), but I didn't want to mount a Pi Cam (using the 'Mendel90 Raspberry Pi cam holder' from JakesterDS — https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1714123).

I wanted to mount my Logitech C920, which has a tripod screw mount, like any standard camera and most webcams. So I took a Tripod mounting plate, which accepts standard tripod screws (you can find them on eBay or Amazon, like the ones I use from Smallrig: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B087BXC6GK?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=mmjjg-20&linkId=76deb9493f871b45f0bb76063c9eeeab&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl), and mixed it together with the mounting point from JakesterDS's cam holder, and made this.

You basically:

  1. Print the Ultimate Sturdy Mount.
  2. Print this file.
  3. Slide the Ultimate Sturdy Mount into the rails on the left side of the Ender 3 V2.
  4. Affix this adapter plate to that mount using a small metric nut and bolt.
  5. Use a tripod screw to mount your camera to the adapter plate.
