The file 'Camber Template For Tormek SE-77 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 2.4MB.
I find it difficult to control plane iron camber using just the Tormek SE-77 screws that release the swiveling mechanism. In addition, it is required to manually align the plane iron in the center of the grinding jig.
I've created a configurable template to aid in the camber grinding as well as the alignment of the iron in the jig. The template is different under influence of plane iron width, plane iron angle and desired depth of cut.
A Stanley no. 5 has a plane iron width of 50mm and an iron angle of 45 degrees. To use it as a scrubbing plane, I've used the template in the photos to achieve a depth of cut of 1.0mm. The corresponding template has a radius of 222mm and a camber of 1.41mm is ground onto the plane iron. See http://www.timberframe-tools.com/tools/scrub-plane-iron-cambering/ for more details.
I've transfered the radius onto the plane iron using a sharpie, clamping the template down. You could also choose to work with the template inside the jig during grinding.
