I originally designed these refrigerator magnets to use as placement 'cards' at my sisters Mexican themed dinner party. The three different cactuses look very good together especially when printing the cactuses and pots in various colors.
I made the designs using SketchUp Make and Meshmixer.
Each cactus consists of three parts; the cactus, the pot and the outline. The cactus and the pot contain a 27x10x2.5 mm hole to fit a magnet. I used a little superglue to make sure all parts stick together, the fit is not tight enough to hold the cactus and pot in place.
I printed everything at an 0.2 mm layer height, no supports needed, on my Creality Ender 3.
Most cactuses and pots are printed with Colorfabb PLA (they sell 50 g samples, which are great for these kinds of things because buying six different colored PLA spools is just so expensive).
The yellow pots are printed with Devil Design PLA.
The blue pots are printed with a locally sold PLA (Lay3rs) from Dutch Filaments.
And the outlines are printed with Esun black PLA (imo good quality for a great price).
Happy printing! :)
