Summary

A replacement joint for the 1995 Buzz Lightyear action figure. Some disassembly is required to take apart the wing pack and replace the wing joint. For the most part you can follow this video to get to the joint:

Once the spring is out, you can slide the spring into the larger holes in the newly printed joint. Print out 2 of the joints (if both are broken) and stack them. The springs will only fit in one way into the joints.

Have fun with a flying ready Buzz Lightyear!

I ended up making this after I found my childhood Buzz Lightyear, only to find out that one of the wings was broken and wouldn't snap in and out of the pack. After taking it apart, to my greater dismay, I ended up breaking the second joint. Gluing them back together didn't hold under the tension of the spring for very long. I then re-assembled the joint with glue, so I could see what it looked like and create a similar joint myself. Hope this can help you!
