Two color swap options to choose from

“Whole Body” version:
To achieve a two color butterfly as shown in the tile picture., change filament after half of the layers to print.

“Wings & Body separated ” version:
Print the body parts in a darker color to offset and give contrast to the wings. The photos show a silver/black color swap.
Print the wings starting with a vivid highlight color faced to your (fancy pattern) build plate. And top it of with either one of the body colors or just a bit darker or contrasting color to the other wing color you chose.

Also use the pre-scaled “Whole Body” version in case you plan no color swap but use a fancy filament like tri-color, rainbow or just plain black or white.

Scaling

All advisable print scaling sizes from 0.6mm up to 2.0mm z-height have been tested. The model has been designed at 1.6mm z-height.Larger than 2.0mm has not been tested but can be achieved by minding to proportionally scale the z-height to a divider of the chosen layer-height.Approximate measure of resulting model sizes:215mm at 2.0mm z-height170mm at 1.6mm z-height128mm at 1.2mm z-height83mm at 0.8mm z-height
