Update: For you that have trouble fitting Blade 1 on your print bed I have uploaded Blade 1.1 and Blade 1.2 Left and Right versions which is basically Blade 1 split in to two pieces for easier fitment on the print bed.
Second version of my buster sword (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3882837). I redesigned this based on the pain I had while assembling the previous version, as well as getting a lot bigger printer. Hopefully this will turn out to be more rigid.
The handle should contain a M16 threaded rod, and the corresponding bolt have a recess in the blade part Hopefully this will make it a bit less inclied to bend if held by the handle.
I decided to split the sword in left and right halves, with indentations for the dog bone shaped connectors. My hope is that this will make it a bit easier to assemble, as well as give the whole thing a bit more rigidity, especially for sideways movement.
I've just started printing it, and it's a massive print. So it'll be a couple of weeks before I can fully assemble it.
Anyhow, if you feel like taking a chance, and have a printer that can print at least 400 mm pieces, feel free to have a go at it!
