When the pet sitter I designed the business cards for came back to me to tell me that even if she loved the design, her cards were not getting the visibility she had been wishing for, I felt like something needed to be done.
Leaving her cards in the waiting rooms of vets, or at the cashier of a pet shop, they would often get buried by other flyers and promotional materials. Such a competitive business!
And so I thought, if the pop colors are not enough to make the cards stand out, a cutesy card holder might do the trick.
Bored of the same old serious designs, I decided to design one myself, and here you have it!
One of the main requirements was to design an holder that could occupy as little space as possible when transported/mailed to the client. Therefore I made this modular design, that can be disassembled and assembled easily.
The size of the business cards in the picture is 5.5 x 8.4 cm (2.16" x 3.3"), but it should also fit standard business cards 5.08 x 8.89 cm (2.0" x 3.5").
