*works on LM2596 DC to DC stepdown converter
I needed to light up my printer's work area using a couple of LED lightbars, one at the hot end and one at the front of the bed. To get the voltage down from the printer's 24V to the 10 and 5V (roughly) I used two stepdown or buck converters.
I'm providing two different models here, one with a dual buck enclosure and a single buck.
I used two T-slot screws that came with my Creality Ender 3 printer to attach the enclosure to the side of the printer. The enclosure itself doesn't need any fasteners. The lid clasps onto the built in dowels or prongs that also hold the buck converter in place.
I provided a slot at the bottom of the enclosure to allow wires to pass through.
There's also a hole in the enclosure lid that allows for easy change to the voltage.
