This is my first remix and attempt at designing anything 3D printable and usable.
I got a great deal on the BigTreeTech HDMI7 V1.2 touchscreen on Temu and wanted to use it for a klipper upgrade on my modified ender 3 pro.
I found and printed https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5582937
only to realise that the screen did not fit as I had the V1.2 screen.
I looked around and could not find one for the V1.2 so decided to give it a go and remix the above case for my needs.
(recently seen that someone else has now made a V1.2 case)
I wanted to keep the original design as I liked the way it looked but just needed to rearrange things to fit the V1.2.
It took me a while (3 revisions) to get it some what correct but below is a list of the changes I made. After creating the STL files I ran them through https://www.formware.co/OnlineStlRepair just to fix anything that I didn't see or know how to.
If there is anything I could improve on or adjust please let me know.
front case Rev 1.3
button holes moved to match V1.2
front bezel flipped and reversed to match V1.2 screen
audio port hole created
cut out section for HDMI and USB-C on V1.2 screen
various sections removed no longer needed
rear case Rev 1.3.1
lowered outer edges to 8.1mm (original was a little too high and not sitting flush)
extra section cut out for button placement
section removed for HDMI and USB-C that sits further back
framed cut out section to sit just above PCB of the HDMI7 screen
(my attempt to make it look neater)
fixing holes on both short ends resized due to lowering the profile of the outer edge
various sections removed no longer needed
Only the files I feel are complete have been uploaded.
