Summary

++++ NOTICE!! : Until Thingiverse fixed its issue to download Things uploaded after a certain date, you can download this Thing from MMF ( https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-118792 ) ++++

So, I needed a brush holder for my desk and searched here on Thingiverse. There were different designs here on Thingiverse, but they all seemed so bulky and needed a lot of print time. I just wanted a fast print for a brush holder which presents my brushes nicely.

I found a version which I really liked here (ThingID: 3854503), but somehow all the files have been deleted and I was not able to download anything =(

So I decided to fire up Fusion360 and sketch my own version of it. I designed it especially for my amount of brushes I frequently use (sorry!), but different to the version that gave me inspiration for that, I also added the possibility to store some brushes on the back side, and added a large lower plate which helps it stabilize more and adds some space to store smaller stuff.

The holes are large enough to only carry brushes, but also tools or pencils or anything else. The depth of the whole design roughly matches the depth of the awesome paint rack from Black-Demon (ThingID: 2600235)

Future Work
I guess I need to find out if the distance between the two walls are to large or not. I looks better that way, but I have a feeling that placing brushes could be hard over the time without knocking down other brushes. Also I need to check if the angle of the holes are sufficient for them to not fall out so easily. Any feedback are appreciated!
