Summary

I designed from scratch this little tool in order to be able to clean the nozzle before the auto-leveling process. I decided to go with magnets for more easy maintenance - cleaning etc. By mounting the BrushBox to a bed-clamp you can move it everywhere you want in order to be accessible from the nozzle.

You can include G12 P1 S4 T2 ; after home axes on your start G-Code but you have to enable first this feature in Marlin by commenting out: #define NOZZLE_CLEAN_FEATURE.

You will need to make 2 holes to the bed clamp with a 2mm drill. A drill guider is included for that purpose.

What you'll need:

3mmx1mm Neodymium Magnet (x8): https://banggood.com/3mm-x-1mm-N35-Rare-Earth-Neodymium-Super-Strong-Magnets-p-923000.html?rmmds=search&cur_warehouse=CN

  • Holes are tight enough. You can push the magnets without glue.

10mmx3mm Neodymium Magnet (x2): https://www.banggood.com/20pcs-N50-10mm-x-3mm-Strong-Round-Magnets-Rare-Earth-Neodymium-Magnets-p-984372.html?rmmds=search&cur_warehouse=CN

  • You need to glue the magnets on both parts.

Copper Wire Brush (X1): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33053117369.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.4c184c4d6wFbhd

  • You have to cut the grip from the brush. The inner dimensions of the main body are 38.5mm x 13mm in case you want to use another brush. If the brush doesn't fit sand the cutted part until it fits

M2 Hex Nut (x2)
