Summary

the most complicated one yet, based on a very special class of engine. The TGR K particularly K1, was the first class of garret ever built. they were built for the incredibly steep North East Dundas Tramway that had 1 in 25 grades! (for those who aren't in the know that's a lot for trains) The line closed in 1932. K1 later had a half scale replica built in December 1993, numbered K3 that worked at bush mill Port Authur for the Bush Mill Railway until it closed in 2004.
