Summary

Why?

Who does not want to make a sky train? 😁 🌤️🚂🚄☁️
If you have kids, chances are that you've got both Brio (or IKEA Lillabo, or even both) train sets and LEGO Duplo blocks around you. Why not combine them?

Background

The Brio and IKEA Lillabo train set rails are almost identical, with the IKEA Lillabo sets being a lot more affordable. The main difference is that the pins of the IKEA Lillabo rails are about 1 mm shorter than that of the Brio rails.
The original thing I've remixed here is only compatible with the Brio rails. Since we've got both, I've adapted the models to also work with IKEA Lillabo rails. They still work for the Brio rails, so now you can mix and match as you like.

Print settings

  • Supports: yes, but only for Duplo-Brio-Down_IKEA.stl and Duplo-Brio-Up_IKEA.stl
  • Infill: 20% is enough, adjust for your kid
  • Perimeters: 3+, adjust for your kid
  • Bottom/top layers: 2+, adjust for your kid
Make sure your bed adhesion is good, since footprints are pretty fine in structure.

Kids play differently with toys. Make sure to adjust part strength (infill, perimeters, bottom/top layers) if your Kid is hulking stuff...

Have fun building stuff with your kids 😊
