We remixed an everyday clip as a label to assist individuals of impaired vision in the organization of fresh food produce. The reusable peg, printed in PLA, contains Braille embossing of the name of days of the week along the edge as a tactile cue to help identify the use-by date of food products.
The design is fashioned in one piece, with the two spaced wedged prongs creating a gripping action. Thus, squeezing together in that the prongs want to return to their initial resting state to hold onto the packaging.
The label can be correctly sized by taking edge length of a regular clip as a reference to scale for accessibility.
