The file 'Box Support For Elegoo Neptune 4 3D Printer Model' is (step,stl,3mf) file type, size is 3.1MB.
Sometimes I'm printing in ABS on my Elegoo Neptune 4 and doing this in an enclosure helps a lot.
I started to use a cardboard box at the very beginning and thought about buying a 3D printer enclosure, but later decided not to go this way for the following reasons:
Long story short, I decided to create a support that can be assembled around printer (without moving it at all) that will support the box for situations when I need to print in ABS.
I monitored temperatures while printing ABS. Temperature insde reached 46 C (ambient temperature was 25 C). MCU and Host chip temperatures were as while printing without any box.
STEP files included.
Orca Slicer project with all settings I used included.
Planks will require 30-50 g filament each. Leg will require ~7g.
You will need 1 or 2 legs for every connection.
