I remember as a kid the fun of decorating the tree. Remember those compartmentalized boxes that had the cool glass ornaments in them? This thing is an omage to those boxes of ornaments.
Decorating the tree, turning the twinkling lights on, and the regular lamps out, and just enjoying the magical glow of the Christmas tree.
This is by far my most challenging entry to the Makerbot ornament contest due to its size. When done printing, it will have produced a compartmentalized box that holds 6 hollow shimmering ornaments which can be removed from the box and hung on a tree.
