This little piece slides into the flash socket on the Sony A6000 camera to hold the flash up. This allows the flash to bounce off the ceiling instead of hitting the person directly. A bounced flash produces a less harsh image. Obviously no support is needed, and normal fill levels are fine. The hole allows you to hook it to your camera or lens cap strap so it is always there when you need it. It may work on other Sony cameras providing the flash design and socket position are similar. To use it, pop up the flash and hold it back with your finger, slide the piece into the flash socket and then rotate until it holds back the flash on its own.
