Made a few changes to 3Deddy's Bottle Opener and Cap GUN!
I had constant issues with making a knot in the rubber bands. It probably isn't a major deal for most but I just had too many issues making it work like I wanted so I removed the top screw and moved it to front where the rubber band attaches. This allows you to simply fold the rubber band around the screw. I used the "pusher" modded by Matamor77 so the other ends of the rubber band attach around the hook part (see pic for example). No cutting or knots needed!
EDIT: A few have mentioned I should post the size of the rubber bands. I use size 31 bands. Double them over and they work perfect.
Since I removed the top screw/sight, I made new a new sight that can be printed separately so both the front sight and pull handle can be the same color. I remade the pull handle so both resemble a stock Glock sights.
Handles are the same width as the barrel now so it prints easier and now there are no supports required. I think it looks better when finished as well.
I used the "new" version where the trigger is secured and pivots on a screw and evened out the spacing in the 3 handle screws (pics are from a previous version where the spacing is still off a tad and it just bugged me so I changed it before uploading)
I used:
(3) M3x20 for the handle
(1) M3x25 for the front rubber band part
(2) M3x6 for under the barrel
(1) M3x18 for the pusher/slide part
One last tip: Use paraffin wax in the grooves of the top slide and also in the cap barrel. Makes the movement buttery smooth.
