This is a boom mic mount for a Sena 10R boom mic. Designed for the Gentex HGU-55 but could also be used for Peltors. Center Post is sized for a lamp hardware hollow threaded rod. Originally used the brass lamp rod but opted for a plastic one for the final version. Cut off flat mount plate on boom mic then hot glue boom into base, add heat shrink for additional security, route wires through base and threaded rod, use two small screws to hold together or glue. Use a thin washer on inside of helmet or peltors to allow boom to swivel up and down.
