The file 'Bondtech BMG Extruder Carriege For Prusa I3 MK3 3D Printer Model' is (step, stl) file type, size is 2.0MB.

Summary

Due to the inconsistent extrusion that the mk3 has (among others yes), which can be found on github issue #602, we decided on a spanish telegram group if using a whole bondtech BMG instead of just the gears could ease the problem. Apparently it does (haven't tried it myself yet).

The e3d now sits on the BMG, which means that the entire extruder body needs to be changed. If it is installed with a pancake motor you can keep the nozzle fan from prusa, but with the prusa motor there is not enough space so, I changed the nozzle fan for those who don't want to change it. It's not pretty, but couldn't figure something else.

The e3d and the pinda sensor are in the same place as the original extruder body. Only the steps of the extruder motor need to be change using pronterface to the new 3:1 gear ratio. Around 830 if I'm not mistaken.

I'll update this with the links to the motors and e3d designs that help me desing this when I find them and any other relevant info (it's saturday now and rather be playing assassins odyssey XD).

Invertedseed and Santi, thank you for all the tests!

UPDATE:
Changed Extruder body and cover. No need for supports and smaller m3 nut holes to keep the nut in. As in the mk3 build, use a screw to get them in. And uploaded step files.

UPDATE 2:
Chris Warkocki point out that there is no reason to have access to the filament sensor for cleaning purposes, being better to just take it out when you need to, so I closed that hole as he did in his zaribo mod.

Changed the square nut that is inserted from the side to attach the x-carriege for a hex nut in the body as he did in his modification because honestly works way better. Asked him if he didn't mind if I bring those changes to my design so don't worry he is aware.

Also fixed some errors that I missed and he pointed out. Nothing serious that would affect performance so if you already have printed it don't worry.

Changed the nozzle fan for prusa motor too. It should be easier to print.
