This is a 1/32 (Gauge 1) model of a tank wagon in use in Europe after WWII. It's an American (USA-TC) tank car fitted for the European railways with buffers and hook couplers. It was used to carry fuel after the battle of Normandy. After the war they stayed in Europe and many of them were used by petroleum companies, mainly in France and in the neighboring countries. Some restored in their original state are in display in the Technik Museum Speyer in Germany.
The tank is about 35 cm long and the wagon with buffers about 40 cm.
