I'm currently finished printing out these panels and I'm using MAX7219 digit screens to show frequencies and rotary encoders to change those values + Arduino 2560 to drive whole thing, it works perfectly.

Software I used to make this work is called "link2fs" this software includes example code to get you started.
I had to cut fire panel in two pieces due its big size. Fire handles are coming later with availability for led's and complete housing for rotary switches.
