I roll model rocket body tubes by hand out of poster board and they end up having different diameters. When I want to print a nose cone I want to measure the diameter that I need. Calipers don't work well because the body tube is flexible. So this is Tester that I can insert in the tube. I want to know how loose or snug of a fit, and print the right size nose cone.
I printed out a set of them ranging from 42.0 mm to 50.0 mm, in 1mm increments, and wrote the size on each w/ a sharpie. I just used the one stl file and changed the diameter for each print because I wanted them in different colors -- easier to differential visually.
