Cover reinforcement for boat cleats
I came up with this from a version I seen years ago on another boat. a simple and effective way to prevent the boat cover from tearing out.
I printed these 2 parts in TPE and bonded them together with tetrahydrofuran solvent.
Use the print as a template to cut the holes in your cover. You should end up with enough space around the perimeter to insert the cutout section of the cover to squeeze the material between the 2 halves. I used black marine adhesive to join the TPE and the cover to each side.
