Wanted to let the sub in my trunk breathe a little bit while trying to add a few dBs to the cab. Designed for an e90 without the ski-pass. Set up for 4.5” hole saw. Front grill piece protrudes into trunk area. The trunk trim ring adapts the offset angle of the front and back planes, and snaps into place (similar to an external snap-ring), holding everything tight. Very, very slightly over dimensioned so the end user can “massage” to fit. Included split trim ring for easier installation. If you have somebody pressing the grill tight while you press the trim ring on it's much easier, or if by yourself, start one edge and roll it on (thick edge goes up). Probably can be adapted for a legit 4th order band-pass setup. About 8 hrs overall print time. I can confirm, with a sealed 10", this makes a noticeable difference. See notes for conversions...
