A simple fuel pump mounting bracket for BMW E46 non M. It fits into the stock location perfectly and is sturdy. Fully allows you to keep the stock fuel pump assembly with an aftermarket high flow fuel pump.
This requires a hose clamp to hold the assembly together. Best to assemble it around the pump and then put it into the fuel pump hanger. A 2nd clamp on the bottom portion of the assembly is suggested but not required.
It is a split shell design to allow for inconsistencies in fuel pump diameter and better clamping force to hold it all together.
Print with POM (OEM material for stock E46 hanger), PP, or Nylon.
PETG (to my limited knowledge) is only good for a short amount of time. Use as a test only.
DO NOT print with: ABS, ASA, PLA, or any of their derivatives.
If in doubt look up a datasheet on your chosen filament. Use logic when selecting one- using the wrong filament can and will cause damage to your fuel system or even engine.
Use of supports is required.
It took about 1.2hr to print on a Bambu Labs P1P with an enclosure. Use of an enclosure to print is suggested.
