Problem: I bought a stand and realized my threads on my microphone was unusable.
Solution: Mount this on the side threads rather than the bottom thread.
I didn't find a solution that fit my needs so I made my own.
I didn't trust the tiny threads on the adapter to hold well into the plastic, so I glued it in place with epoxy, and for a sleeker look I glued a plug in afterwards to hide the adaptor from the bottom side.
I can still unscrew the rod to use other mics with this stand if I wish.
