This is the Stator and Rotor for a 3d printed brushless motor. There are two different rotors right now because I only have 3mm*10mm cylindrical magnets. rectangular magnets whould work best due to the surface area. The rotor with the polygon shaped exterior i glued and taped magnets on the outside. It is 8 pole and ~10mm width magnets are ideal. I used 25 Windings per slot (24 slots) and wired it in a wye connected 3 phase motor. I used a serpentine winding method. I was able to spin it so fast it ejected the magnets. I will be periodically redisigning this as I have more time and money to invest in it. I used 2 1/4 ID ball bearings and a 1/4" shaft with a few 1/4" shaft spacers and a locking nut and shaft collar. Printed with a Longer Orange 10.
