This model is a remix of a blade-less fan for 120mm PC fan.

And to be frank, I have had mixed results on this. My first attempt with 120mm 12V 0.1A DC motor was not promising. The airflow was not steady enough to give me enough breeze. It was super silent at 1500RPM. I guess, the quiet fan doesn't create enough pressure to drive the bladeless design properly.
I also tried the 120mm TurboFan model which had a decent airflow but unfortunately was too noisy. I couldn't afford to have a fan at my office desk which has a sound of the jet engine taking off.
So I designed a fan to remove inner shrouder easily. By doing so, the original super silent fan can give you more widely distributed airflow if you use it without the inner part.
In the end, my silent fan doesn't amplify flow, but it is just a nice addition on my desk :)
