I made Lightning's gunblade from Final Fantasy XIII out of wood and needed to protect mainly the tip, so I designed this simple scabbard. It's too large on purpose, I glued some leftover foam into it so the blade does not get worn on the sides.
To print it hollow, I set the infill to zero, the bottom layers to zero, too and then printed it on the opening. Cura project is attached, it also includes some modifications to make the shape a little nicer, my Blender skills were insufficient for that.
