A scale model of the Bissell Street Water Tower in Saint Louis, MO. Located on 1423 Bissell St, this tower was built in 1885 and is 1 of the 3 iconic water towers in the city.
The model was created from drone photos using a process called photogrammetry. This process stitches photos taken from a known location to create a 3d model. The model was refined in Blender and then exported to an STL file.
For printing, I would recommend a high resolution (.1-.2mm on an FDM printer) and scaling up as appropriate. Enjoy and please let me know if you have questions/comments!
