Many bike side covers have those pins going into the rubber grommets, but they tend to brake off the plastic overtime.
Those ones are a close replica of the Honda Goldwing's pins, but may work on other bikes as well (I've been told they are quite similar).
Just sand both sides and use some epoxy!
