Bike Saddle mounted rear light post.
I remixed this from an original design of an under saddle airtag holder (thank you!)
After fitting a sprung suspension seat post and mud guard I realised I had nowhere to put my rear light!
I created this to fit the default saddle bag screws (using a design for the same type of mount from an airtag holder).
Type of screws required: Two M5-0.8 x 12mm (for the Cube acid Cycle mount - will likely be bike / saddle specific so do check) - be careful not to use screws which are too long! might get a painful suprise when sitting on the saddle otherwise! especially if using self tapping!
I also used two small self tapping screws (after marking with a pen and drilling pilot holes) on another saddle which didn't have the threads in place.
Originally the mount was intended to be placed the other way around (with the post under the saddle) but, the light is much more visible when placed further out - completely your choice!
Mount holes are 40mm apart (to centre) however, I printed the part and then used a permanent marker to draw the drill points using the part for the saddle without the mounts.
Printed in one go with the mounting base placed on the bed - no supports or scaffold required. I printed in ABS however, depending on weather proofing / heat requirements should be fine in PLA, PETG etc.
Hope its useful!
