Modified the original design. tried it with a little wheel on a bolt "axel" and it was really noisy and was wearing pretty quick against the metal axel. swapped to a simple ABS concave wing shaped slider and waxed the surfaces well and seems like it will last. Still held in place by the bolt but no wear because no moving parts! printed at higher temp to really melt the layers together well. outer guide in PETG for strength, the slider wing in ABS for abrasion resistance. a cut piece of rubber (or rubber-type sheet) put between the guide part and the metal bike parts helps hold it still and minimize rubbing. so far so good on a few rides.
