BigBox LCD Enclosure.
The standard BigBox LCD enclosure is of course beautiful, but it has some flaws. In this design I improved some (if not all) of them:
- the opening for the SD card is bigger, with rounded corners, making removal of the SD card easier.
- There is a hole in the front of the panel, making it possible to (re)adjust the LCD contrast without taking apart half of the printer
- I've added a hole for the reset button, now you can do an emergency stop without powering off the printer
Some other small improvements:
- No more screws on the front of the panel, the hex screws are in the inside of the panel mount
- I've added a bracket that prevents the bending of the LCD PCB when mounting the screws of the LCD panel.
- A nice printable big knob on the front of the panel :-)
Parts needed:
4x M3 12mm screws for the LCD screen
6x M3 16mm screws for mounting the enclosure to the frame
