Other information:
I never joined whale watching yet, but their many photographs are real astonishments to me all the time.
I designed this little sculpture with Rhino, focusing on the astonishing giant scale of whale body (in contrast with a tiny human figure) as well as the dynamic movement of the largest see creature ever found.
For ease of colouring, I have separated the boat, the human figure, and the hat. Assembly should be quite easy, but dealing with tiny parts might annoy you - I beg your pardon.
Thank you and have fun!
[Important Notice] Update on 7Jul2019
Thanks to Jacob (YasNoiu)'s feedback, I made a revision of my original design (Whale_and_water.stl) and eliminated all the surface & mesh problems when printing. Please download 'Whale_and_water_fixed.stl' instead of 'Whale_and_sater.stl'. Thank you.
