I've replaced the large navigation device on my bike with a smartwatch from Garmin (Venu SQ2), because apps like Komoot with their now quite good display of maps and turn-by-turn directions are completely sufficient.
The adapter has to be printed using flexible material (TPU). It is attached to the watch strap and holds absolutely securely. It is designed for 20mm wide wristbands. The hollow for the pulse sensor keeps the watch in position. There are versions for approx. 33mm handlebar diameters and for older bikes with 25mm.
