Better Rear Enclosure Remix w/ LM2596, Relays, Pi 3B, & SD Extenders
I got very tired of cramped designs. The original case by gweep is very well built.
Overall I changed a bunch of the angles to 45 degree to minimize supports.
NO Bridge versions for faster print times, forfeit middle support and magnets
Flip your extrusion that holds the bed!!! It makes running the wires 1000x easier!
Facing the Rear Left
-Kept 3 LM2596 mounts
-Added 1 Single channel 30a 5v Relay mount
Facing the Rear Right
-Kept the melzi board layout
-Modified some of the internal structure to allow for better cable management
-Eliminated my chain link, caused too much trouble
Facing the Front Left
-Raspberry Pi
-Slot for PI SD Extender, its a hair small, requires filing
(Makes it easy to swap Octoprint installations)
-Hold down for the SD Ribbon
Facing the Front Right
-3 single channel relays, could be modified to fit your size relay boards
-Slot for Board SD Extender, its a hair small, requires filing
