Summary

Who has had issues already with the GT2 pulleys on Y and X? I did! I replaced these small bearings already several times and decided to finish that by using large ones.
In this design I used F625ZZ (16mm x 5mm with flange). I mounted them both on a 25mm long 5mm bolt with flanges to the outside (see pictures).
What did I need :
2 pulleys for the Y-axis.
New supports for the Y-steppers (I wanted to get rid of the the whole melamine piece under both Y-belt channels - no worries about the length of the rods : see picture)
Supports for the cablechain on the right side.

Whats special about the pulleys : while still warm, I screw the bolt in and create as such a thread that holds quite good
The LEFT X-pulley : 2 pieces now. I made a separate support for the bearing to allow nicer and more accurate printing
One could also mount the Y-pulley supports upside down and leave the melamine base.

I replaced the bed support by an aluminium one made of standard 2mm thick profiles.

Modified cablechain support items : 50mm instead of 60mm
Everything mounted and tested ...

See http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2045169 for a revised version. In the revision belt tension adjustment is done with the pulley instead of the stepper
