Summary

A belt driven Bowden extruder for NEMA 17 motors and GT2 belts.Designed to attach to my Prusa i3 top bracket but should fit any printer with a flat surface about 45 x 30mm that can have screw holes drilled.

This unit uses GT2 belts and pulleys for a 1:2.5 reduction. Designed for 1.75mm filament, this has a filament guide and shaped holes for easy filament loading.

I used a white tyre paint pen to paint white stripes on the belt every 10 teeth to make it easy to monitor the feed rate etc.

Update 25 Oct 2015: v1.03 files replaced by v1.04. The holes for the locating pins on the upper bracket were not deep enough so have corrected.
