Summary

I created this to show the parts of an insect for educational programs. The goal is for kids to notice that insects have three parts: the head, thorax, and abdomen and 6 legs and also to notice other parts such as the wings (insects can have 2 or 4), antennae, compound eyes, and mouthpart.

The pictures of the model in orange is after scaling 500%. I glued magnets in the holes and on the pegs and it held the pieces together well enough. The pegs on the wings need to be edited to be a bit longer so the magnets make better contact, working on that! See misc notes on printing at 500%. Work in progress!
