Customer has a small quart bee feeder for their hives, and wanted to use a 5 Gallon Chicken Waterer from Tractor supply. Harris Farms EZ-Fill Drinker, 5 gal
The quart bee feeder had a plastic grate above the liquid so that the bees have something to stand on while they feed, so they don't drown... and they wanted to duplicate that for the larger 5 gallon waterer.
The waterer is approx 14.5 ID and 16.5 OD, so printing as a single unit wasn't an option on their 300x300 printer..
This is a work in progress, the customer needs to test the grate in the waterer when they receive it, and the files will be updated after.
You will need to print 8 of these to make the full circle.
If needed a fastening system could make them snap together, but there should be no reason to - since they will simply fit snugly in a circle.

The A/C was cranked on during this print, so a side lifted, but again this is just a rough draft.
Printed as a Rough Draft to test the model.
Using a 0.8 mm nozzle, printed at a 0.4 layer height in PLA on a modified A10M
